Monday Night TeleMeditation

Every Monday Night, 8 pm eastern time

"'With an eye made quiet by the harmony and the deep power of joy, we see into the life of things.' These words by the poet William Wordsworth quite beautifully reflect the process of meditation. For this, of course, is what we want: to see into the life of things, to be touched, to be connected, to feel at home in our own lives. We don't want to live out our days mechanically, unaware, disconnected, and lost in the shadow of our conditioning."

You are invited
to join a TeleMeditation circle.

A TeleMeditation Circle is a coming together of many people via a conference call. I now hold many workshops and creativity circles via teleconferencing. In one of the teleCircles, we have been meditating; it has been so inspiring and supportive that we decided to meet this way just to meditate. Such is the inception of the idea of the TeleMeditation.

We will begin with a short introduction and there will be some instruction. This is not, however, a guided meditation. It is a meditation where we focus on the breath as a way of quieting the mind. If you have never done this kind of mediation and would like to try, please come. All levels of meditators are invited!

There is no charge for the TeleMeditation, but there are two requirements:

1.That you arrive no later than 7:55.
2. T
hat you stay on for the entire twenty minutes.

I will try to mute the entry and exit sounds, but if that doesn't work, I will lock the conference so that no one will be able to log on once we begin. So be on time.

This is a twenty-minute meditation every Monday night. There will be little or no discussion once the mediation ends. This is a time for us to gather in silence.

Your meditation may open to some writing once we are finished, and you are welcome to post your writing to The Divine Imagination, blog of Creative Soul Works.

Even though we are on the phone, there is tremendous connection and support. It is a powerful and lovely experience. Registration is required the first time you join us, but there is no fee. Once you register, you will receive the call in number. And feel free to invite others to sit with us.

To register, email Emily.

I look forward to this deepening connection of community and support.Namaste
