Falling Into the Mystery of Self

A Maskmaking Workshop
With Emily Hanlon

Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, 9:30 until our masks are finished.
Please be prepared to stay until 10 pm.

We will be making our masks as part of the inner journey of discovery. There are no limits to the forms masks can take. Although we can try, we cannot anticipate the mask that wants to be reveal itself. The mask is a portal to different aspects of self. Sometimes it is a part we are ready to relinquish; other times is a part of self waiting to be revealed. We can make a mask to mark a birth, an ending or a new season. We can make masks for the simple joy of the process.

Bring lunch and a pot luck for dinner. Drinks of all sorts provided. What Else to Bring

"The Mask is an ancient symbol of transcendence and power. It emits an almost eerie force field of latent power and potential; the sense of something deeply mysterious about to reveal itself...The Mask has had a significant role throughout human civilization as a portal into the great mysteries of life and consciousness.
