Glastonbury Abbey and the Abbey House: As guests of the Abbey House, we have our own entrance to the Abbey Ruins, which are a highlight of any visit to Glastonbury. In addition, at night, we will be the only ones allowed in the Ruins. You may visit the ruins whenever you like, and we also make use of the ruins at night for our creativity and ritual work.
Town of Glastonbury: The town must be experienced to be appreciated! You'll love walking, sitting, browsing and shopping along the most unusual and fascinating High Street in all of England. And don't forget the tea rooms and the pub!
The Tor: The Glastonbury Tor is across the road from the Abbey House. To experience the Mists of Avalon, an early morning walk is essential! In addition, we will have a group walk up the Tor.
The Chalice Well: The Chalice Well, just a short walk from the Abbey House, is a place of feminine energy, meditation and healing.
Wells Cathedral, The Bishop's Palace and Wells on Market Day: The perfectly preserved medieval city of Wells and its glorious Cathedral is always a must, especially on Market Day. Wells is only a ten minute bus ride from Glastonbury. Go with the group and return as often as you like!
Crop Circles and the Avebury Stone Ring: For many years, crop circles have appeared in summer at Avebury, the largest known stone ring in the world. This year's retreat features a tour of different crop circles, with an expert crop circle guide.
The Goddess Conference: An added attraction to this year's retreat is the annual Glastonbury Goddess Conference, which will be running during much of our time in Glastonbury. There are ceremonies, talks, workshops, pilgrimages, and other events. The Goddess Conference is not part of our retreat, but there will be time to participate, if you choose. |
